Peer Review Process
Bulletin of the Karaganda University employs a double-blind review process to ensure impartial evaluation.
Double-Blind Peer Review
All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process, ensuring that both reviewers and authors remain anonymous throughout the evaluation. This ensures impartiality and fairness in the review process.
Peer Reviewer Selection
Reviewers are selected based on their expertise and experience in the relevant field of research. The editorial team carefully matches the manuscript subject matter with the reviewers' areas of specialization to ensure a thorough evaluation.
Review Criteria
Reviewers are asked to evaluate manuscripts based on the following criteria:
Originality: The novelty and contribution of the research to the field.
Theoretical and Methodological Rigor: Soundness of the research design, data collection, and analysis methods.
Relevance: The relevance of the research to current issues in management, finance, accounting, economics, or public administration.
Clarity: The manuscript’s coherence, clarity of writing, and adherence to the journal’s submission guidelines.
Practical Implications: The potential impact of the research on industry or policy.
Review Process
Initial Screening: The editorial team performs an initial check for compliance with the journal’s submission guidelines, including formatting, referencing style (APA 7), and plagiarism checks. Minor issues in formatting should not affect the decision and should be dealt after the article is accepted for publication
First Round of Review: Two reviewers evaluate the manuscript and provide feedback based on the review criteria.
Author Revisions: Authors may be required to revise the manuscript based on reviewer comments. Authors must submit a detailed response to the reviewers’ feedback.
Final Decision: The editor, considering reviewer recommendations and author revisions, makes the final decision to accept, reject, or request further revisions.
Confidentiality
Reviewers and editorial staff must treat all submissions in confidence. Reviewers are prohibited from sharing the manuscript or discussing its content with anyone outside the editorial team.
Reviewers and editorial staff should not upload Manuscript or any part of it into AI platforms.
Conflicts of Interest
Reviewers are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest (e.g., personal, financial, or professional relationships with the authors) before accepting a review assignment. In such cases, they may decline the invitation to review.
