Digital transformation of industries of the member states of the Eurasian economic Union and increase of their competitiveness

Abstract

The level of digitalization in the future will be the main determining factor in the effective development of the economy and its industries and the advantage of their competitiveness in the world market. The main players of the world market are actively implementing digital tools in all sectors of the economy. The introduction of the digital economy will improve the efficiency of business processes, reduce costs, increase asset profitability and increase investment profits. The article analyzes the approaches and trends in the implementation of digitalization in the economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2017, according to the state program «Digital Kazakhstan», the compliance and uniformity of the implementation of 5 directions and the program for digitalization of the Eurasian economic Union were compared. The issues of implementation of the program on digitalization «Eurasian Digital agenda» of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the member States of the Eurasian economic Union were also analyzed and discussed. The current average level of digitalization of the economy of Kazakhstan today will not be an obstacle, but the possibility of a qualitative breakthrough in development, which will bring the country to the first place on the world stage. Digitalization will give an additional impetus to the technological modernization of the industries of the industrial flagship of the member States of the Eurasian economic Union, will create conditions for large-scale and long-term productivity growth.
