Abstract

Object: To analyze Kazakhstan’s innovative activities in the tourism industry based on the possibility of solving a number of problems associated with increasing the satisfaction of cultural needs of the population (contributing to livelihoods by increasing nominal income), as well as create conditions for the development of innovative business units. Methods: The general methods in economics. Results: A trend model is developed to obtain the expected values of the indicator “Nominal income of the population, tenge” for the period 2022–2024, which indicates an increase in the number of people using the services of the tourism sector. In this regard, tourist destinations must remain competitive and flexible in terms of sustainable development to create a better future. This means that tourism is not only a driving force for economic growth, but also that economic production itself can play an important role in the growth potential of the tourism sector. Conclusions: Innovation is becoming an important factor in global economic growth and will inevitably play a key role in accelerating the country’s economic development.
